Student Spotlight~ Pawin Bradley (’29)

Pawin Bradley(’29) is a new 7th grade student here at AST. He came to AST because when he was introduced with a tour, AST’s beautiful and free environment sparked an interest in him. He isn’t very familiar with AST right now since he just came. Also, AST is just temporary for him and will change school’s after one year to move back to Thailand. After a month at AST, Pawin has made some friends at AST and is getting to know them. His favorite class is Physical Education, since even though he isn’t very athletic, he thinks that the teacher is fun and has a bright energy.

At the start of quarter one, Pawin joined the Mural Art Club. Even though painting is not one of his strong suits, some of his friends also joined this club which makes it enjoyable for him. One of Pawin’s hobbies is Rock Climbing. He thinks it’s fun, makes him stronger, and he has to plan his route to see where it takes his next step. He was first introduced to Rock Climbing because of his dad when he was little and has been rock climbing ever since. Every weekend he will go rock climbing with his family whether it’s at the gym or anywhere in Taiwan that is possible to climb. His favorite type of rock climbing is bouldering because it suits his frequent technique for climbing.

Pawin thinks AST’s academic system is better compared to the other schools he has been to, and he thinks that the teachers are nicer. Pawin thinks AST is not like any other schools he has ever been to because of the various school events, like the Tea Sale, the games in advisory and the half days. He thinks that AST is a very enjoyable and diverse school.

Pawin Bradley 是 AST 七年級的新生。他來到AST參觀校園時，美麗而自由的環境吸引了他。他對學校還不太熟悉，然而一年後他就會轉學回泰國。在 AST 一個月後，Pawin認識了一些朋友，並開始了解他們。他最喜歡的課是體育課，雖然他運動能力不強，但他覺得老師很有趣並且充滿活力。

在第一季度開始時，Pawin加入了壁畫社。雖然畫畫不是他的強項，但他的一些朋友也加入了這個社團，這讓他在那裡感到自在。Pawin的愛好之一是攀岩，他認為這很有趣，讓他變得更強大，因為他必須規劃自己的路線，看看下一步該往哪裡走。他小時候因為父親的緣故第一次接觸攀岩，從那時起他就時常攀岩。每個週末他都會和家人一起去攀岩，可能是去健身房或台灣任何可以攀岩的地方。他最喜歡的攀岩類型是抱石，因為此項能運用他最上手的攀岩技術。

Pawin認為AST的學術體系比他上過的其他學校都好，老師也較好。 AST和其他學校不一樣，因為這裡有各種各樣的活動，例如:飲料販賣、導師時間的遊戲，以及上半天課的日子。綜上所述，他覺得 AST 是一所非常令人愉快且多元化的學校。
