Faculty Spotlight~ Ms. Megan McHugh

Ms. Megan McHugh is an English and Science teacher in MS who is enjoying her 4th year at AST. Her goal for students this semester is to fall in love with writing! She would like the students to know that writing is not a difficult task if you put a little love into it. In English, she hopes the students build confidence in themselves but know that if they need any help, they can go to her! The five things she really likes about AST are…the students, teachers, culture, parents, and driving up the mountain. Sometimes life is hard, but students always make a day fun! “Working with students is the best part of my day!” Ms. McHugh said.

Ms. McHugh 是國中部的英文和科學老師，在AST４年了。她這學期給學生的目標是希望他們愛上寫作！她希望學生們知道寫作業並不是一件很難的事情。在英文課裡，她希望學生有自信，如果需要任何幫助，都可以去找她！之前香港、北京和台灣的學校都提供Ms. McHugh工作機會，但是她認為台灣是最好的選擇。在AST有五個她很喜歡的事物，分別是學校的學生們、老師、文化、家長，還有開車上山!雖然有時候日子不一定美好，但是學生們總是讓一天變得很有趣！如果沒有學生，Ms. McHugh認為她一定無法好好工作。
