Faculty Spotlight~ Mr. Sunny Jan

Mr. Sunny Jan is responsible for the school's general affairs as well as miscellaneous tasks. He is like a hero behind the scenes! The reason he came to AST is that he speaks English, and the school offered him a general/managerial position. Furthermore, he loved to be with kids and found them adorable. Therefore, he decided to join AST!

Teachers come and go every year, and Mr. Sunny has encountered various types of teachers. Despite their different personalities, he believes that this diversity is beneficial for AST since AST itself is very diverse. Mr. Sunny thinks that teachers should take the responsibility of guiding their students. He also mentioned that the number of AST students has recently increased, and the campus is undergoing constant renovations. One of his job responsibilities is to assist the administrators in addressing issues related to building regulations, as Taiwan's regulations are quite strict. Complying with these regulations while considering architectural design poses a challenge for him. Mr. Sunny is very humble, stating that he has no special achievements, but he continues to work diligently. Working at school is enjoyable because he can learn and grow with us! He hopes for a better and brighter future for AST!
